DIY time

I'm having a DIY day. Thought I'd give this skull sweater a go. You know the one that's everywhere right now. I think it turned out pretty well. It was super easy to do too. Just need some chalk, scissors, and a sweater. Easy peasy! I'm going to go work on cutting up a white tee now. The inspiration for that one is more of a "I'm not paying $50 for a plain white t-shirt with holes in it"! After being in an Urban Outfitters and trying one on, I realized, I can pay two bucks at the Salvation Army for this and have it done exactly the way I want it. I'll post photos when I finish that one. I may make it a mix of holes and shredding. We'll see how ambitious I'm feeling. I shredded a shirt months ago, that was exhausting. But fun!

Today/Yesterday

Yay for fireworks! Nothing like explosives shining in the sky. Canada day! This made me miss the show at Ontario Place though. There was no music or anything thing. Just boom boom boom, crackle crackle crackle. Which is still fun. Just not the same as home.

Anyway, now that that is over, I'm having one of those moods where I feel like deleting everything. Like this blog, lookbook, even almost flickr. I'm not going to, but I really feel like it. Ever get those moods? I just can't seem to get a photo I'm happy with. It just all feels so useless. It is probably just the rain messing with my mind. I thought winter was bad, this is worse! No more clouds! Sorry, I just got emo on you. So yeah....if you look down... those booties I'm wearing I found on ebay (blacklunavintage), the scarf I found when I was power shopping in Toronto. I think this is the first time I've worn it (bought it last year!). It is a little hard to see, but its full of peace signs. Ok, time for lunch now! Maybe that will get me out of my funk.

Parking

The sun was actually shining just a little today, so we decided to go for a walk in the park. I wish this rain would just quit it. I want hot times in the sun already!!
